 AAEE’s 22nd Biennial Conference will attract dedicated sustainability and educational professionals from across Australia. We welcome our MOU partners as members from New Zealand, Japan and North America.

Online registration provides the options for Member, Non-Member, Concession / Students to register for any of the following registration options:

  • Full Registration – attendance at all three (3) days of the conference and includes welcome reception and sundowner, morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch each day
  • Day Registration – attendance for one (1) day of the conference, includes welcome reception and sundowner, morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch for your nominated day(s). If you would like to attend two days of the conference, purchase two single day tickets.
  • Research Symposium – Purchase a day registration and select Research Symposium – Wednesday as your day of attendance in the check-out form
  • Virtual Registration – Is available for the symposium, but not for the conference
  • Conference Dinner – Attendance to conference dinner

 

The structure of the conference is as follows:

Monday, 25th September

  • Conference Field Trips
  • Welcome Reception and Sundowner

Tuesday, 26th September

  • Conference Day 1
  • Conference Dinner

Wednesday, 27th September

  • Conference Day 2
  • Research Symposium

 

Refund Policy – Importantly, you can be confident in booking your attendance at the 2023 Conference, as a full refund policy is in place in the event of a cancellation or inability to attend. See below for detailed conditions.

Registration Terms & Conditions

Full Registration
The Full Registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

  • All Plenary, breakout, field trip AND/OR research symposium sessions across the 3-day conference
  • Social functions: Welcome Reception
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, and lunches for each day

Day Registration
The Day Registration option entitles delegates to the following:

  • All Plenary and breakout sessions on their nominated conference day
  • If selecting Monday – Conference, all conference field trips
  • Catering: Morning, lunches and afternoon teas,  on the nominated day

Research Symposium Registration
The Day Registration – Research Symposium option entitles delegates to the following:

  • Accessible via selecting a Wednesday single day ticket and in the checkout form
  • All Plenary and breakout sessions for the Research Symposium session on Wednesday, 27th September
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, lunches on the nominated day 

Concession Registration
A Concession is defined as a holder of a Commonwealth Government issued card. You must hold a valid Health Care or Seniors card to be eligible for the discounted rate. Please note, your Health Care Identification Number or Seniors Card number will be required to register as a Concession.

Concession registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All Plenary and breakout sessions
  • Social functions: Welcome Reception
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, lunches for each day

Student Registration
A Student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Please note, your Student Identification Number will be required to register as a Student.

Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All Plenary and breakout sessions
  • Social functions: Welcome Reception
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, lunches for each day

Virtual Registration – Research Symposium

The Virtual Registration – Research Symposium option entitles delegates to the following:

  • Accessible via selecting the virtual ticket options
  • At this this stage, a virtual stream of the plenary sessions and one of the breakout streams.

    Registration confirmation

    Your registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email, with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.

     

    Name badge

    Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon attending the registration desk onsite. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions.

    Conference Organisers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

     

    Group Registration

    A group discount of 10% is available for the following AAEE membership categories when three (3) or more delegates register to attend the Conference:

     

    Individual or Family AAEE members

    If there are three (3) or more Individual or Family AAEE members in the one organisation, then they are all eligible for the discounted group registration rate.

      

    School/Small NGO members

    If your organisation is a School/Small NGO AAEE member, your organisation is eligible for two (2) AAEE Membership registration rates.

    Please note, to qualify for the group registration rate you will need to have an additional Individual or Family AAEE member in your organisation.

    Existing School/Small NGO AAEE members can apply to upgrade their membership from School/Small NGO to Corporate to take advantage of the Conference’s discounted group registration rate by contacting AAEE at admin@aaee.org.au.

     

    Corporate member

    If your organisation is a Corporate member, your organisation is eligible for four (4) delegates to attend the Conference at the Members discounted group registration rate.

     

    Credit Card payment

    The preferred method of payment for the Conference is by credit card. Please visit our secure website to register and book your tickets in real time. Tax receipts are provided on completion of your registration.

    Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

     

    Invoice payment

    If you require an invoice before proceeding with registration, this option is available through the registration link.

    Please complete your registration as normal and click on the ‘Pay by invoice’ option at checkout. An invoice will then be sent to your registered email address. Payment is due within 30 days.

     

    Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Conference Organiser. Our refund policy is outlined below:

    Conference Registration

    1. Should the event be cancelled or should you be unable to attend due situations outside of your control, you may be eligible for a refund.
    2. In the event that you require a refund, please contact the conference organiser on events@partnerandprosper.com.au or +61 (08) 9443 3468.
    3. Each refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The conference organiser will respond to you within five (5) business days on the progress of your case.
    4. If your case is deemed successful, you will be refunded the full amount of your registration, fees included.
    5. In the event that the conference is cancelled (due to a lockdown, or similar) we ask that you consider keeping your ticket, or requesting a partial refund in support of the event industry and AAEE, to ensure we can continue hosting events for you in the future. 

    Transfers

    Tickets may be transferred to another guest / delegate. Please advise the Conference Organiser on events@partnerandprosper.com.au or 08 9443 3468 to make the transfer.

    The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Organisers will accept liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

    The Conference Organisers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
