Enjoy an environmental educator networking event on the beautiful Nudgee Beach foreshore. We will be sharing and demonstrating shorebird education programs (with lots of active participation of course) and community shorebird engagement ideas to protect these amazing species.  Scopes will be set up for a spot of birdwatching. 

We will than move to the Nudgee Beach Environmental Education Centre where the AAEE conference will be livestreamed for the remainder of the day. 

Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided with an opportunity to network.

AAEE Evening Workshop – Building Biodiversity on your Property

Join Dr Mark Nadir Runkovski from the Natura Pacific social enterprise to learn more about how important biodiversity is in building resilience at home or on property. We will touch on the concepts of biodiversity, what it means to you and how to share the concepts of this important process with students and community. The format of the online event will be a dynamic presentation and Q&A panel about the concepts of building and celebrating biodiversity.

Join us for a day (or half-day if your time is limited) at the Sustainability Learning Centre (SLC).

The day offers guided nature and environmental education, focused workshops for teachers and educator, hands-on ideas for use in classrooms / groups, guided networking activity and tour of the SLC, and a special ‘screening room’ for 21st Biennial AAEE National Conference.
