Community Members

Expressions of Interest (EOI) close 10 September, 2021

The WA Chapter of the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) invites you to submit an expression of interest for a funded position at the 2021 Biennial Conference in Mandurah. LotteryWest funding will support 30 people with the conference fee and some support for travel and accommodation. The successful applicants will also become members of the WA Chapter for a year. Applicants need to be 18 years and over.

The Expression of Interest Application

The EOI applies to NGO’s and volunteers currently working with an environment group in their community. A limit of two volunteers per group applies and they must engage in a mentoring program in the lead-up to the conference. You may be required to volunteer at the conference, depending on if the committee requires any assistance. After the conference we will support your community project or the implementation of one of the WA Chapter projects listed on our website at www.aaeewa.org.au

The EOI needs to cover the following points:

  • Describe a project that you are involved with in your community.
  • What benefits will you gain from participating in the AAEE Biennial Conference?
  • What projects do you propose to activate for your community?
  • Letter of support from the environment group or local government that you are affiliated with.
  • Your contact details

The application form is available below to complete and return to Dr Jennifer Pearson at info@aaeewa.org.au
